Gang/Path
Nu har vi tagit oss samman och kopt stenar till varan gang sa vi slipper bli leriga om fotterna under vintern. Vi ska sanka ner dem i graset.

Normalt?/Normal?
Ar det normalt for en pelargonia att blomma sa har mycket i slutet av november? Och kolla pa kaprifolen bakom, den ar fortfarande jatte gron! Jag trodde den skulle tappa sina blad pa hosten?
Is it normal for a pelargonium (not sure if that's the english word for it?) to flower it socks off in the end of November? And look at the honeysuckle behind it. Still loads of green leaves. I thought they were deciduous?

Ny buske och rosflytt/New shrub and rose moving
Den har rosen fick flytta till den har platsen for nagra veckor sedan. Den stod vid dorren pa framsidan innan. Nar jag planterade den sa trodde jag det var en klatter ros, men det ar en busk ros. Sa nu har jag moblerat om eftersom jag hade planterat en klatter ros pa ett stalle dar den inte hade nagonstans att klattra.. Far se om de overlever flytten. Egentligen ar detta perfekt tid att flytta pa buskar och sant eftersom de normalt satt borde vara i vinter ide i November, men eftersom det ar sa varmt sa haller de pa att blomma fortfarande.
I had to move this rose to this place a few weeks ago. It was originally planted next to our fron door since I thought it was a climbing rose. But it turned out to be a shrub rose. So in its place at the front I had to move a climbing rose which I planted in a position where it didn't have anything to climb on.. I'm not sure they'll survive the move. Normally this time would be a good time for moving plant since they should be dormant, but because of the warm weather this rose was still flowering.
Har ar en ny Philadelphus buske som jag fick av svarfar! Det ar den gula i mitten. Den har typen av Philadelphus (har glomt av namnet, ar lite trott...) luktar jattegott nar den blommar.Jag ska grava ut en ordentlig rabatt mellan dessa plantor till sommaren och plantera mer vaxter.
Here's a new Philadelphus I got from Mike! It's the yellow one in the middle. The type name has completely slipped my mind (am a bit tired) but it smells lovely when it's flowering. Next summer I will dig out a proper flowerbed between the shrubs and plant more things.

Gummistovlar/Wellies
Kolla in mina snygga gummistovlar! Kopte dem i Wales. Har inte agt nagra gummistovlar sen jag var typ 12 ar sa nu kanns det som om cirkeln ar sluten.. Kanns lite varning att vara sa har exalterad over detta, men anda, de ar ju gula!
Check out my great new wellies! I bought them in Wales. I haven't owned a pair of wellies since I was 12 or something so it feels like the circle is closed now. (Is that a saying in English?) Anyway, I feel a bit like a sad person being exited over a pair of wellies, but come on, they're yellow!!

Stadning/Cleaning
Har ar resultatet av min sommarang i host skrud. Nu var det dags att gora nagot at det. Nar jag var hos svarforaldrarna i oktober sa fick jag tva plantor Dogwood (vet inte vad det heter pa svenska, men tror att det ar Cornus Alba pa latin) sa de planterade jag har efter stor rensning.
Here's the result of my flowermeadow with autumnal look. Not very pretty. So I decided to do something about it. When we visited Mike and Christine in October I got two plants of Dogwood which I planted here after cleaning up.
Sa nu ser det ut sa har. Det gar knappt att se plantorna nu, men stammarna har en valdigt stark rod farg vilket ar snyggt pa vintern. Sen vill jag egentligen ha paskliljor runt dem, men jag ar nog forsent ute sa det far vanta till nasta ar. Sen maste jag plantera nan marktackande vaxt ocksa annars blir det bara massa ogras har alternativt anvant som katt toalett.
So now it looks like this. The plants are barely visible now but they've got lovely red stems which looks great during winter. i would like to plant daffodils around them but I guess that will have to wait until next year as I think it's too late now. i will have to plant some kind of ground covering as well, otherwise the ground will soon be covered in weed again or used as a cat toilet.

hallon och chillies/raspberry and chillies
Rich planterade den har hallonbusken for nagra veckor sedan. Den star pa altanen bredvid dorren sa vi far val se om vi kan ta oss ut till sommaren, de vaxer tydligen ratt rejalt..
Rich planted this raspberry a few weeks ago. It's on the patio next to the door so we'll se if we'll be able to get out next summer as raspberry bushes are meant to grow quite vigorously..

Here's the latest harvest of chillies and peppers. The pepper plants are finished now and rests comfortably in the compost bin but one of the chillie plants is still going and the chillies are still riping!

Climbing Snowdon/Bestigning av Snowdon
Vi var i Wales i helgen med nagra kompisar for att klattra upp fro Snowdon, hogsta berget i Wales. Har ar jag efter vandringen upp till dar klattringen borjade.
We went to Wales this weekend with Chris, Rosser, Will and Martha to climb Snowdon. Here's me after the walk up to where the scrambling begins.

Jag igen, i full koncentration. Notera att vadret fortfarand ar ok, det skulle komma att bli betydligt varre.
Me again, fully concentrating where to put my feet and hands. Note that the weather is still ok, there was much worse to come.

Nar vi flyttade in sa stod det har graset/vassen i tradgarden. Jag har undrat vad det ar for nagot jatte lange. Men nu vet jag minsann! I slutet av sommaren sa borjade helt plotsligt de har fjadrarna skjuta upp. Sen sa fick jag lana en bok av svarmor med plantor och helt plotsligt sag jag varat gras dar! Det heter Miscanthus sinesis "Silver feather".

Kompost/Composting
Den har bilden ar mest for pappas skull, vi har diskuterat kompost en del... Kolla in alla maskar!!! De borjade plotsligt existera i komposten efter jag borjade vattna den lite grann, sa nu ar det en himla fart pa den. Jag tog ut den forsta omgangen fardigkomposterad jord forra helgen! (Jennie var har och halsade pa nar denna fantastiska handelse tog plats, och hon visade imponerande entusiasm vilket var valdigt uppskattat eftersom det var lite av en hogtidsstund for mig...)
This picture is mostly for my Dad. We've been discussing composting a bit and I just wanted to show him that I've finally got loads of worms. They started to appear after I added some water to it every now and then. After this the whole process has sped up and I took out some ready composted soil of it last week!

Blogg problem igen/Blogg problems again
Jaha, har hade jag antligen tagit mig samman och skulle lagga ut nya bilder pa kok och tradgard. Sa strular blogger programmet igen, sa jag far val aterkomma.
Typical...Had finally summed up some enthusiasm to put up new pics of the garden and house and the blog program is giving me grief again. So I'll have to try later or another day. Hmpf.
