Here's the flowerbeds in the front "garden". It was time to do something about them now.
Sa jag har planterat Lobelia i mitten av all betong och Alyssum Lavender i rabatten med rosorna. Tanken ar att de ska vara marktackande och stoppa ogras. Jag planterade Lobelia i mitt rabatten forra aret och de vaxte pa bra. Planen ar att gora oss av med all betong och fa det hela att se mer ut som en tradgard och mindre som nat fran osteuropa. Men det ar mycket jobb och det far vanta till nasta ar nar vi forhoppningsvis ar klara med huset. Men for tillfallet sa far minirosorna vara kvar...
I planted Lobelia in the middle of the concrete and Alyssum Lavender underneath the roses. The thought are that they should cover the ground and stop all the weeds from coming up. I planted Lobelia in the middle flowerbed last year and it grew well so I hope it will work thi year too. The big plan is to break up the concrete and make it look a bit more like a garden. But it's a big job and will have to wait until next year after we're hopefully finished with the house. So I'm leaving the little miniature roses for now but they will have to go at some point.
