Sunday walk/Söndags promenad

We went for a walk up Box Hill today. We were meant to follow the Adventure Trail but missed the signs and got a bit lost and ended up in real troll woods covered with moss. Luckily we found out way out eventually!
Vi åkte till Box Hill för att gå ett Adventure Trail. Vi lyckades snabbt missa skyltarna och gick fel och hamnade i en riktig troll skog täckt med mossa. Som tur är hittade vi tillbaka tillslut!

Ellie created this art installation tonight. She also decided to put cellotape over her mouth (it didn't stay there for long though as she's got way too much to say). Could she be her generations crazy artist in the making?
Ellie gjorde den här konst instellationen ikväll. Hon tejpade också för sin mun (det varade inte många sekunder, hon har alldeles för mycket att säga). Kan hon vara sin generations galna konstnär?

Söndagspromenad/Sunday walk

Vi tog en promenad upp på Reigate Hill idag. Det var helt fantastiskt väder!
We took a walk up Reigate Hill today and the weather was amazing!

Harry är hemma med öroninflammation och feber idag. Men han är glad ändå! Precis som syrran.
Harry is home with earinfection and a temperature today. But he's happy anyway! Just like his sister.

Friday cupcakes!/Fredags cupcakes

Ellie gjorde cupcakes idag. Nu väntar hon ivrigt på att pappa ska komma hem så hon kan visa dem. Och äta dem. Med lite tur räcker de kanske till söndag. Men det är osannolikt.
Ellie made cupcakes today. She's currently waiting for daddy to get home so she can show them. And eat them. With a bit of luck they will last until Sunday. But it's unlikely.

Barnarbete/Childlabour

Det är så skönt nu när barnen är så stora att de kan ta över städningen.
It's so nice now the kids are big enough to take over the cleaning responsibility.

Julstämning/Christmas feeling

I helgen åkte granen in! Vi höll oss en hel vecka längre än förra året Och den har redan börjat barra.....
We got the tree last weekend! We waited a whole week longer than last year. It's already started to lose needles.

Nu har Harry börjat äta själv ibland, med blandat resultat. Men det håller honom sysselsatt.

Autumn allotment/ Höst koloni

Jag var en sväng på kolonin igår och röjde lite. Fick med mig lite broccoli hem. Men nu är det bara palsternacka och jordärtskocka kvar att skörda.
I went to the allotment yesterday to clear up a bit. Got some broccoli to bring home. But now there's only parsnips and jerusalem artichokes left to pick.
