Party in the park/Party i parken

Idag har vi varit i London i Brockwell Park på en Country Show där det ställdes ut grönsaks skulpturer, får rakades, musik spelades och massa mat och dryck såldes. Här är Ellie på pappas axlar så hon kan se hästarna i riddarutrustning.
Today we went to London to Brockwell Park on a Country Show. There was vegetable figure competition, sheap shearing, live music, lots of food. Here'e Ellie on daddy's shoulders so she could see the horses and knights.

Here's Sophia who told us all about it and arranged the meet up.

Granny and Grandad

Vi hälsade på Granny och Grandad i söndags. Det var en jättevarm dag så vi spenderade mesta tiden ute på gräsmattan i skuggan av parasoll och växter. Ellie blev bortskämd med skottkärre körning, cykling och matning av appachas, fick sitta på en häst och mata kycklingar!
We visited Granny and Grandad last Sunday. It was a really hot day so we spent most of it on the lawn in the shade. Ellie was royally entertained with wheelbarrow rides, biking with Grandad, feeding of appachas and chickens and got to sit on Sammy the horse!

Poppy and Ellie

Vi passade Poppy en liten stund på fredag em och här sitter hon och Ellie och målar och klipper, att klippa i papper är Ellies senaste favorit sysselsättning.
We were babysitting Poppy a little while on Friday pm and here's Poppy and Ellie painting and cutting things with the scissors, which is Ellie's new favourite thing to do.

Allotment produce/Koloni skörd

Nu har vi börjat skörda lite från vår kolonilott som vi fick tillgång till i maj! Courgetten växer som katten så där kan vi plocka flera gånger i veckan. Andra omgången rädisor är på tillväxt nu och idag plockade jag upp de första potatisarna och tog lite av dillen.

Now we can start picking some of the crops from the allotment! The courgettes are growing like crazy, we can pick it several times a week. The second round of radishes is growing at the moment. Today I picked the first potatoes and a little bit of the dill, dinner tomorrow!

Ellie fyller båten med vatten i förberedelse för en varm dag. Hon tog också tillfället i akt att vattna gräsmattan och resten av trädgården!
Ellie is filling the boat with water in preperation for a hot day. And she also took the opportunity to water the lawn and the rest of the garden!
