Muffins!

Ellie is very good at baking muffins. Today it was white chocolate muffins as ordered by mummy and daddy. Quite a lot of the chocolate ended up in Ellie's belly but some were left to put in the muffins.
Ellie är väldigt bra på att baka muffins. Idag hade mamma och pappa beställt muffins med vit choklad. En hel del av chokladen hamnade direkt i Ellies mage, men det blev lite över till muffinsarna.

Idag har Ellie haft skoj med en av sina julklappar från Auntie Brigit and Uncle Darran.

Jul-Christmas

Vi firade jul i Sverige i år hos Ronny, Elise och tjejerna i Onsala med hela tjocka släkten. Fantastico. Här är den fina, stora granen.

We celebrated Christmas in Sweden this year at Ronny and Elise's in Onsala with the entire family. Here's the big, fancy tree.

Ellie was totally terrified by Santa.

Ellie var helt vettskrämd när Tomten kom.

But she quickly recovered when she realised that he was here to give her presents.

Men hon hämtade sig snabbt när hon insåg att han kommit för att ge henne presenter.

Små grodorna/Little frogs

It's a Swedish tradition to dance around the Christmas tree while you sing some songs. I tried to teach Ellie one of these songs before Christmas. It's called The little frogs and it's about frogs who don't have any ears or tails and that they go "coackackacka". She's a quick learner when it comes to the moves!

Innan jul försökte jag lära Ellie "Små grodorna". Ganska bra resultat tycker jag, iallfall på dansen!

Snow/Snö

Nu var det dags för snökaos igen! Dagis var stängt och inga tåg gick igår så Rich och Ellie fick vara hemma och leka i snön med våra grannar Helen och Matt och deras små tjejer Maisie och Poppy. Jag tog mig till jobbet på snöiga, oskottade och osaltade vägar med snökedjor på däcken.

Time for snow chaos again! Nursey closed yesterday and no train were running so Rich and Ellie had to stay home and play in the snow with our neighbours Matt and Helen and their little girls Maisie and Poppy. I went to work on snowy and icy roads with help of snow chains.
